Key Purpose of this position :-

  • Responsible for Coordinating with the Technicians/service team, Product management team, Central marketing team for the execution, managing existing customers and new business development and implementation of sales and marketing action plans

  • Work with the Zonal/Regional Head to devise and implement Territory/Area/Regional business strategies for sales aligned with the overall sales strategy, target the right markets and customers to increase market penetration, identify key business drivers and work towards controlling them
  • Maintain good relationships with key market partners
  • Monitor the Territory/Area sales target achievement regularly including revenue, collections, profits, claims, productivity, distributor networks, OEMs/Fabricators etc. and take corrective action as and when required
  • Stay updated on product information, and specifications and undergo required training for performance improvement
  • Ensure optimal usage of the Distributor Sales Network to increase market coverage
  • Drive promotional activities, exhibitions, campaigns, etc. at a Territory/Area level to create and maintain customer awareness and connect
  • Review customer data and feedback for improvising the sales plan accordingly and taking necessary action wherever required
  • Identify new sales territories for increasing market penetration
  • Grow new product categories in the Territory/Area through various initiatives
  • Implement the sales strategies for maximizing Territory/Area profits
  • Provide inputs to the Data Analytics team to help implement effective systems and processes for customer database management, capturing sales performance, etc.
  • Provide insights about products such as new product launches, product modifications required, etc. based on customer, OEMs/Fabricators and dealer feedback
  • Ensure adherence to the sales systems and processes and give feedback for improvement
  • Organize events/Seminars/forums for Customers periodically
  • Manage and increase the business from regular large accounts by developing and maintaining relationships with key decision makers/Influencers/Users across the hierarchy at customers.
  • Work closely with the execution/Technician team, Product Management Team, and Marketing team to ensure and prioritize the services to ensure all-time satisfaction to the Key Accounts.

Academic & Professional Qualifications :-

  1. BE/BTech in Chemical Engineering OR BSc/MSc in Organic or Industrial Chemistry, MBA in Sales & Marketing is desirable.

Experience & Exposure (Specify, if any particular area or industry preference) :- 

  • 2-3 years of experience in Sales & Marketing (B2B Domain) for Industrial products preferably in the Chemical Industry.
  • Good communication skills
  • A desire for continual learning and improvement
